Discovery! And library!

Image
Huge discovery this week. I discovered how to turn the percussion keys on my electric keyboard on. I know I have a drum here, but on the keyboard I can play like 40 sounds all by myself. And they’re loud. Great times. I can “doof doof “ while everyone else sings and dances.  This week, I’ve been to the Te Puke library again. Here I am pictured with my friend Sam. Library was nice this week, warm inside, cold out. We were read to and discovered books for ourselves.

Science + Technology and Day books

I’ve been updating my day book. This is going to be a funny one of the royals having a joke with me. Probably them telling me how cool I am and how Prince Charles isint. Science this morning, I learnt how to make a vacuuming with a lit candle and water. Man it was neat.  In this photo, it shows how much water goes up into the glass.

Bayfair and sensory

Here I am at Bayfair having a look around at the shops and games shop was my favourite. Having some sensory fun today and playing some music.I really enjoy my music sessions.

Bayfair and Music

This keyboard is awesome. I’ve been experimenting with different sounds. I like the electric piano and organ. More a 70s jazz feel. The rock organ is great too, definitely a Led Zeppelin feel. I’ve also been to Bayfair, not quite school holidays so the mall isn’t too crowded. I do know my way around.  I know the food court and where k mart is. And the sofas in the middle where the men escape their wives.

Books and Drums

Sensory this week I specialised in percussion. It’s amazing how many sounds you can get from cymbals. I need more drums! More things to make noise with! I went for a trip to Te Puke library with my friend Marshall, we have to get new books all the time as they are read at our centre. Nothing like a good story!
