We went to the duck pond in Papamoa and I wore my glasses. I thought  I looked really cool. I even reached out to pat the ducks

Story Time at the studio

It’s story time at the studio. Today’s story is all about Noah’s  Ark. 

Food bank

I have been to food bank today enjoying the experience watching bread being packed into bags. I was there with some of my friends from the studio. 

Park activities

The Police were out in force recently over at the Park in Commerce Lane, meeting and greeting everyone, as well as handing out sweets to children. They came over to me to say hello and it made feel so important.

I have been over at the park this afternoon watching my friends playing swing ball, it was a beautiful warm spring day.

End of another great week

It’s Friday end of another great week at the studio, I went out on one the days this week to feed the ducks at Papamoa with some of my friends from the studio.

Chilling out on the floor

I am having a good time rolling around on the floor and stretching my legs today, and I have also had time to try out some press ups on the floor.

Using sensory board at sensory room

I have been to the Sensory room in Greerton.I have been using one of the sensory boards while checking out what my friends have been getting up to. I listened to my favourite music.

At Mount Maunganui board walk

I have been to Mount Maunganui today with some of my friends from the studio. I am sat next to Tom, we are looking over at the boats birthed along pilot bay. We had great weather a lovely warm day

I love my sensory time

We had a dress up in the studio playing music then stopping the music and adding something else to wear, that’s why I am looking so pleased with myself.

People first meeting and sensory

I went to sensory in Tauranga on Monday. I love exploring all the different tactile options

At our monthly people first meeting we talked about the COVID-19 virus and the effects it has has. We also learnt about the correct etiquette for coughing and sneezing

The mid winter Christmas lunch

What a surprise, had such a surprise at our after dinner chill out to music with all the guys, then Santa’s helper turned up to hand out presents, is that awesome or what.

It has been a while since I have been to sensory in Greerton, so it was so good to see some old faces, as well as having good fun in the sensory room.

Noodle tube

I have been given a noodle tube to hold this afternoon, and I am discovering just how enjoyable the feel of the texture is. My friend Adriaan has come back today it was so nice seeing him after such a long break.

Back for a visit

My Dad brought me to work today for a visit, the first time I have seen any of my friends, or the staff in ages. Seems like a life time ago since I have been here. My Dad is bringing me back to work on Thursday looking forward to that.
